Born in Naples and raised in Viareggio, on the western coast of Tuscany, she has always had a passion for travel. At an early age she decided to leave her hometown to discover London, where she worked and learned English for two years. Once back in Italy, she trained to become a National licensed hiking guide and is now leading groups throughout Italy. Her Neapolitan origins are expressed through her cuisine which translates into fresh, delicious and inventive Mediterranean flavors which are served daily on our picnics, to the great delight our guests. In recent years she has developed a great passion for wine and is currently studying to become a sommelier. Cheerful and positive, Francesca is always happy to recommend food and wine pairings and to answer any of your queries and curiosities in the culinary hemisphere.
