Born and raised near Florence, Pietro studied photography in London after high school. Upon his return to Florence he was so enchanted by the natural beauty of Tuscany that he began observing the plants, animals, and remarkable environs. He studied to become a naturalist guide, exploring remote and wild places all over Italy, in love with the unrivaled diversity and richness that the country offers. He loves sharing fascinating stories and his vast knowledge.
Pietro still practices photography, focusing on landscapes and nature studies. In his spare time, you can find him sailing around the Mediterranean Sea….
