Born in Palermo, Vincenzo’s tour guide mother raised him with a wonderful attitude towards multicultural experiences and travels. Since the age of twenty Vincenzo has worked as a guide in Sicily and abroad. One of his specialties is hiking tours and geology of the active volcanoes in Sicily.. This passion for volcanoes has led him to live amongst the vineyards at the foot of Mount Etna. He has a versatile personality and a great knowledge of Sicilian cooking, which is an added sensorial experience for our guests during our tours. Since 2019, after studying mindfulness in Asia with Theravada Buddhist monks, he has enriched his trekking experiences with “inner walks” — a rewarding way to get closer to the wild nature of Sicily.
